Since motorhomes are becoming so popular, perhaps you’re thinking it’s time to get one of your own. For many people, there is simply nothing better than hitting the open road. The freedom that this pastime allows is often the biggest draw, but it can also be less expensive in the long run that traveling by air and paying for hotel accommodations. A great choice for couples to look at is the Trigano Tribute 2 berth. It’s the perfect size for the retired couple who wants to spend several weeks away or the newlyweds who want to spend some time together as their schedules allow.
The Trigano Tribute 2 Berth Layout
This campervan is well designed, with ample room and some great features. The long bench is great for relaxing on during the day and it quickly converts to two single beds, one king bed, or a three quarter bed with room for walking around it. The front seats swivel, so there is an airy feel to the living room.
The bath is rather spacious for this style of campervan. It features a basin, swivel toilet, and even a separate shower. The fully integrated kitchen has a large refrigerator, separate freezer, hob, and oven.
Other Features
In terms of handling, the Trigano Tribute 2 berth is no different from a traditional van or truck. It’s built around a Fiat Ducato with a 2.3 jtd diesel engine. The 2.9 mtr awning is a fantastic feature and one that most people use quite often. You can add on bike racks and storage boxes, which is a great choice for those that will be on the road for an extended period of time.
The Price
One of the nicest things about a Trigano Tribute 2 berth is the price. It’s more affordable than a Timberland. Used models start about £19,000, while the newer models, with all added options are available for around £30,000. Some of the latest models are even equipped with flat screen TV’s and solar panels. The optional features will of course raise the price and the value of this campervan.
Any Negatives?
About the only negative issues available was concerning the 2006 model. The waste tank is situated very low under the vehicle. While most people have had no issue with it scraping, it is important to ascertain just how low this tank sits on the model you choose. There were also some reports of poor reception on the radio, but this easily remedied with a DVD and mp3 player.
A Final Thought or Two
If you’re looking for a midrange campervan, the Trigano Tribute 2 berth is a very sensible and affordable choice. With a generous layout and some terrific features, this is one campervan that’s perfect for the traveling couple. There are also larger models available, but this one seems to be favored by most people.
